Pete and the team at PM are a breath of fresh air! After getting the Lithia runaround, I am pleased to report that PM has taken very good care of my mini. I called 4 different shops to get an estimate on a clutch kit, and PM came in $400 less than other shops- and they stuck to the budget and didn't overinflate the service need (ahem... aka Lithia).

Mark, the owner has assembled a fine team of people who don't simply strive to provide superior service, they accomplish superior service, they make it happen.If you own a BMW or Mini and have not had Pacific Mortorsports work on your vehicle, you owe it to yourself to give them a try. I was an idiot and kissed a curb during our winter weekend. Came into PacMoSpo and they diagnosed the problem, found a replacement part, and repaired it while I waited. Hard to find anything wrong with that kind of service. Did I mention I just dropped in, and probably was the last thing they wanted to see first thing Monday morning. Thanks guys...great job.

After a recent encounter with a parking barrier strangely placed in a road, we took our beloved Mini Cooper S JWC to Pacific Motorsports. Pete there determined that there was some damage to the undercarriage. The easy part was the bent control arm; the more difficult part was damage to the vapor lines, that run the length of the car, and their mounting brackets. Complications - the only way to get replacement lines was from Germany and would take a few weeks. Plus we wanted to avoid an insurance claim so we were paying for it ourselves. Pete was great; he came up with a quicker, less expensive solution using vapor lines from a BMW. and it cost us many hundreds of dollars less than using OEM lines. The car runs & drives great. We are grateful for a job well done.

I always get fantastic service when I'm at Pacific Motor Sports. Everyone is friendly. They take very good care of my Mini Cooper and never try and over sell me on any service. They do let me know when a part is starting to wear or certain things to be aware of.

I took my 2005 645CI to the Portland dealer after I experienced a failure with the power steering system immediately after having a dead battery. I reported this to the dealer and the dealer's diagnosis was that I needed to replace the entire power steering rack, with a new alignment as well as the battery with a quote of nearly $5,000. I was very suspicious of this diagnosis and wanted a second opinion.I called Pacific Motorsports and reached Pete there, who used to work at the deal and remembered me. I described the problem; took the car in, turned out to be a bad battery and a bad connector - cost $500.00. These guys saved me $4,500 and I feel like I'm not dealing with the dealer machine; I'm dealing with folks that will fix my car and are diligent and fair.Now the waiting room doesn't have coffee and cookies and a small fridge of sodas, but i'm not there for that. I'm there for folks to take care of my car with diligence and professionalism. Pete did give me a ride back home after dropping the car off. That was great.This is my first experience with these guys, but as my wife reminded me when I relayed the story to her (when we went out to dinner using some of the money Pacific Motorsports saved us) - she said well they just got another client! I added - "and as many people as I can convince to check them out". I highly recommend them.BTW: This is my first Yelp review - that's how strongly I feel about this shop.BAZ
