David, I am glad that you were happy with our level of service and aptitude! But I have to apologize for the mishap on the diagnosis charge during your visit, that should have been caught and adjusted before you left. As with any repair shop, you pay us for our time spent working on your vehicle, and in most cases, vehicle diagnosis does take enough time to warrant the $175. In this case, we were able to find and cure the electrical issue fairly quickly, and although we shouldn't waive the charge completely, it should have been less than the originally agreed cost.
