Pacific Motorsports MINI Cooper Service Recommendations:

Oil Service
MINI Coopers specify synthetic oil. We utilize Redline Oil and recommend that it be changed every 5,000 miles. Redline is 100% synthetic, has no dinosaur oil (unlike Mobil 1 and other brands) and is used by the vast majority of racers. We believe it to be the best, which is why we carry it.

Service One
Every 15,000 miles there is the Inspection One or Service One. This includes an oil service and the inspection of the major components, particularly those involved with safety such as brakes. The cabin microfilter is replaced. CVT (automatic) transmission-equipped vehicles have their transmission fluid changed.

Service Two
Every 30,000 miles there is the Inspection Two or Service Two. This encompasses everything in the Service One and adds a tune up, filter changes (including the fuel filter, which the dealer doesn’t include, because we’re conservative and very maintenance-oriented), lubrications and adjustments. The V (drive) belt is also replaced.

75 point visual inspection of the entire vehicle.

It includes:

1. GT-1 and BMW’s Software Service Station inspection to check for active and stored codes of all systems
2. Road test
3. All results and recommendations are presented in writing
4. Professional Evaluation (whether or not the vehicle is worthy of acquisition)

If you purchase your new BMW based on our recommendations and need a Service Two inspection, we will discount the Service Two by the cost of the Pre-Purchase Inspection when completed within 30 days.

We also recommend this as a Post-Purchase Inspection for those who have recently acquired a vehicle, whether as a gift, inheritance, or from another source. It’s always good to establish a baseline of your new BMW’s condition.
